Mixed Kohai isn’t just a clothing brand — it’s a mindset. A reminder that the journey matters just as much as the destination. For five long years, we tried to create the brand. We sketched out logos, launched drops, chased trends — and fell short. Again and again. Brand after brand failed. Designs flopped. Ideas fizzled. But the core never changed: a deep love for anime, Japanese street culture, and the belief that there’s beauty in being the learner — the Kohai.

Through every version, every late-night redesign, and every drop that didn’t sell — one truth kept us going: we’re not here to pretend we have it all figured out. We’re here to grow with you. To fall forward. To keep experimenting. Because in a world obsessed with perfection, we represent the misfits, the creatives, the ones still leveling up.

Mixed Kohai was born out of that evolution — a fusion of gritty anime aesthetics, streetwear rebellion, and the philosophy that it’s okay to be a work-in-progress. Our name reflects that duality: "Mixed" for our blend of styles, cultures, and lessons — and "Kohai" for the eternal student we all are.
